Caviar is extremely delicate and, as such, is highly perishable. At Sterling Caviar, we take the utmost care to guarantee that your caviar arrives in pristine condition. Your caviar is fresh-packed at our farm and shipped with gel ice packs via refrigerated transport to your doorstep within a matter of 24 hours. To ensure maximum enjoyment of your Sterling Caviar once received, please consider the following guidelines:
- Sterling Caviar should be stored in the coldest part of your refrigerator (33° F-35° F / 0° C-1.67° C). During warm summer months, you can ensure that your caviar remains at an optimal temperature by storing it on, under, or between the gel ice packs with which it arrives. Never freeze your Sterling Caviar.
- For optimal taste and texture, Sterling Caviar should be consumed within 2-4 hours of opening the tin.
- Once opened, avoid excess exposure to air of your Sterling Caviar by consuming it immediately or by placing the lid over the caviar in between servings.
- The maximum shelf life of Sterling Caviar is 2-3 days opened and refrigerated and 3-4 weeks unopened and refrigerated.
